Headlining this charity comedy event is the one of kind Gavin Eddings! No stranger to the spot light, he is a morning radio personality on HOT 96’s “Claire and the Hot 96 Morning Show,” and even once appeared on an episode of Man vs Food. You will definitely enjoy this “adorkable” comedian!
Featuring for the show will be Evansville’s own Andy Imlay! Host of the YouTube Channel “Cripple in the Corner,” Andy has been spreading his message of “PalsyPositive” across the country performing at festivals such as Live Laughs and even headlined at the Superman Celebration in Metrolplis, IL. Breaking down stereotypes, Andy shows through comedy that you don’t need super powers to be a superhero!
Hosting for the evening will be Kris Izzi! Kris was the winner of 2017 EvilleCon’s Got Talent. Kris has performed with comedians such as Erik Stolhanske from Super Troopers and Dustin Diamond (Screech) from Saved By The Bell. Audiences can’t help but love his unique ability to make any glass half-empty moment seem full!
Opening the show will be Emily Neary who just won the title of 2nd funniest woman in Evansville! Emily takes you into her “honest-to-a-fault” accounts of a lady’s day-to-day sentiments and experiences of being a remarkable citizen of an unremarkable city. You will want to catch her act again and again as she is always adding a newfangled spin!
Also opening and making his debut in Evansville is Patrick Gognat! An Iraq war veteran, whether it’s in the field or on stage Patrick is no stranger to pressure. Working as a teacher at a mental health facility, Patrick is no stranger to strange situations. With his quick and subtle humor, Patrick embodies the phrase “Semper Fi” because audiences can have faith he’ll leave them wanting more!
Laughter is one of the best medicines, and not only will these amazing comedians make you laugh till your side hurts, but they are also doing it for a great cause!
While patiently waiting for a lifesaving kidney transplant donor (see below), John “Leon” Hufstedler has been encouraged by the IU Kidney Transplant Team to start fundraising ASAP! The kidney transplant process requires many visits and over night stays in Indianapolis, Indiana (before and after the surgery). All the money raised that night will be donated to to John’s cause!
After the event be sure to stick around as we’ll auction off some great prizes. Stay tuned for updates on what you can expect at the auction!
And as always at every show at Pat Coslett’s Simplicity, Bubbles from the world famous Pub and Carne Asada will cater in beverages for purchase!
Can’t make it to the event, but you want to help? Here are two other ways: John only needs 1 good kidney and most everyone has 2 working kidneys (we only need 1 kidney to survive). Save a life, share your spare! Please consider completing the kidney Donor Evaluation Form to see if you could possibly save my John’s life:
If you can’t make the event you can also don’t directly to the cause through Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/donate/867236270325004/10113480818787949/
